Vintage Halloween Folk Art Rootwood Witch — Vintage Folk-Art LARGE Wax Figure

The Rootwood Witch — Vintage Folk-Art Wax Figure 21 x 7.5. RARE

Bent beneath her weathered hat and leaning upon her old walking staff, the Rootwood Witch keeps to the deepest paths of the woodland realm, where moss softens every footstep and the trees remember all who pass beneath them. Akin to the rootbinders in the novel who lurk under the fallen forests  in the caverns of Wrothabyss she presides over dark roots, and wiats to deceive the companions as they search for 7 keys.

Molded in richly mottled brown wax, this wonderfully primitive figure possesses the timeworn character of an old folk-tale treasure. Her softened details, earthy coloring, and mysterious, stooped form make her appear almost carved from rootwood—or discovered resting beneath an ancient tree.

Display her among dried leaves, mushrooms, moss, and autumn gourds, or place her within a cabinet of curious Halloween heirlooms.

A wonderfully unusual collectible for admirers of primitive folk art, woodland witches, vintage Halloween figures, and beautifully strange old treasures.
